Educational Activities
1. Mentor and advisor for undergraduate interns for the last four summers (2004-2007); the interns were part of the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN) Research Experience for Undergrads (REU) program.
2. Instructor and trainer on the JEOL JBX-9300FS Electron Beam Lithography System. Created part of the course material for the extensive training program and successfully trained more than two dozen researchers on the machine. Also consulted with researchers on a one-on-one basis to develop compatible processes.
3. Trainer (2004-07) for the Dimension 3100 Atomic Force Microscope. Created training material and trained many dozens of researchers on this microscope.
4. Trainer for the Bioforce Nano Nanoarrayer (2007)
5. Special problems instructor for M.S. and PhD students
6. Participated in K-12 outreach programs to educate teachers, teens, and kids, on nanotechnology; this included both classroom instruction and clean-room lab tours.
